Customer Delivery Driver - Amersham Superstore
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is a part‑time role with a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can work fewer hours down to a minimum of 12 if that suits you.
Availability Window- Sunday – 09:00 to 19:00
- Wednesday – 09:00 to 19:00
- Thursday – 18:00 to 22:00
- Saturday – 06:00 to 10:00
We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide you with three weeks’ notice of your shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities- Keep the van, trays and delivery equipment clean, tidy and road‑worthy.
- Load the van efficiently and ensure all items are secure and correctly displayed.
- Interact with customers, communicating any changes to their orders and offering refunds for items they are unhappy with.
- Maintain the accuracy and care of products as if they were your own.
- Deliver within the customer’s time slot and call ahead if you will arrive early.
- Call the store/centre if you will be 30 minutes or more late.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers, demonstrating a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Be energetic, driven and eager to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
