Field Service Engineer; South West England

Overview

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the South West area of the UK. The role will conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution.

• Provide Technical Customer support, on-site assistance to our customers.
• Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support.
• Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferable or Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma; proficient English is mandatory
• Open to travel; driving license is mandatory
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work autonomously, being a team player as well
• Experience with Salesforce will be beneficial
