Employment Type: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications: Full Training provided;
Higher rate for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates

Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in our specialist residential service, Tegfan situated in Ammanford and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us.
Joining our Specialist Services team means working with some of the most complex individuals we support. Previous experience in a similar setting and a proactive approach whilst following specific plans are highly valued.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
- Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
- Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
- Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
- Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

- Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis
- No prior experience required – full training provided

- Previous experience for this role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
- A genuine passion for providing excellent care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Must be aged 18 or over
