SAP Archiving Consultant

As a SAP Archiving Consultant, you will:

• Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP ILM and Data Archiving solutions across SAP landscapes.
• Manage archiving initiatives including Open Text Data Archiving, print list archiving, and both standard and custom archiving objects.
• Drive large-scale document migration projects from legacy SAP Content Servers to modern platforms such as SER DOXIS, MS Azure Cloud, or SAP IQ.
• Configure and optimize Archive Link document types and ensure seamless integration with S/4
  
  HANA and connected SAP systems.
• Perform document linkage validation to ensure business continuity, audit readiness, and consistent user experience.
• Analyze SAP data growth and identify optimization opportunities using DVM reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR by implementing ILM Retention Management and HR data deletion processes.

• 8–10 years of experience in SAP Data Archiving, ILM, and ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP for HANA with hands-on development skills related to archiving and ILM processes.
• Proven experience in executing S/4
  
  HANA transformation projects, especially with document migration and ILM configuration.
• Sound understanding of Archive Link, Content Server integrations, and end-to-end document management flows.
• Knowledge of GDPR regulations and compliance-driven data deletion.
• Experience in analyzing SAP database performance and identifying archival opportunities.

• Design scalable and compliant archiving strategies aligned with business and audit requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex ILM, Archive Link, and data migration issues efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with technical and functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of archiving initiatives.
• Continuously optimize data growth and performance through proactive monitoring and reporting.

• Exposure to advanced technologies such as S/4
  
  HANA, Azure-based storage, SAP IQ, and modern content management platforms.
• A collaborative and knowledge-driven work environment with cross-functional expertise.
• Continuous learning opportunities in SAP ILM, regulatory compliance, and emerging data management trends.
