Your role

The Digital Technology Consultant will be responsible for the delivery of high impactful solutions to our key customers. The candidate must have strong (digital) technology background combined with business consulting experience. The person will transform business problems of our key clients into technology solutions, which will streamline their processes and realize significant gains in efficiency, cycle time reductions, quality improvements, customer/employee satisfaction improvements, and strengthening compliance.

It is expected that the person will be responsible for driving several key client engagements from an end-to-end perspective, including managing client stakeholders and the various Cognizant teams. The candidate is also expected to support the practice growth by cooperating in business - and practice development activities.

As a Digital Technology Consultant, you will support the growth of Cognizant’s Enterprise Automation business across a wide portfolio of industries and platforms. You must have strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and should be able to collaborate with Requirements and Design teams to build new features and enhance existing features. This role requires you to identify and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements to deploy digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Understand and define business problem with client considering all relevant angles (technology, process, people, organization, etc.)

· Design technology solution in a creative and innovative way and drive the discussion with the client to agree on the solution as well as on how the solution is going to be delivered.

· Build and maintain strong client relationships. The key stakeholders will be from IT area, responsible for automation, solutioning, architecture, platform owners, etc.

· Support the Benelux EA Leadership team in growing the practice, both commercially as well as from the practice maturity point of view. Here it is expected to collaborate with Cognizant wide practices and teams (e.g. teams delivering market leading ERP, CRM, TMS, MES, etc. solutions as well as consulting, data analytics, testing, etc.)

· Collaborate on business development activities, such as pre-sales, client presentations, research and proposals including both, pro-active as well as responses to client requests.
