Technical Architect; AX​/2012 & D365 FO

We are looking for a Medior-level Technical Consultant with strong technical application management experience across Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in Azure Synapse
, Logic Apps
, Power Platform
, and solid experience in installation, deployment, and release management within complex enterprise environments.

Dutch proficiency at a professional level is essential due to ongoing collaboration with Dutch‑speaking stakeholders and teams.

• Provide technical application management and consultancy across AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
• Participate in the installation, configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of application components.
• Manage and execute release cycles, patches, and deployments across test, QA, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps
  , Power Platform components
  , and Synapse Analytics
  .
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance across all environments.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Support migration and upgrade initiatives from legacy AX versions to Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, internal governance, change control, and security procedures.
• Provide technical mentoring to junior team members when required.

3–6 years’ experience in technical consultancy or technical application management.

Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and AX 2012 (technical administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning).

Strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations technical components.

Hands‑on experience with:

• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Logic Apps
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)

Strong background in installation, deployment, and release management in multi‑tier environments.

Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and source control (GIT).

Solid understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows, and security models.

Excellent proficiency in Dutch (written and spoken).

Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
