As an SRE at Funda, you’ll help shape the infrastructure behind one of the most-visited websites in the Netherlands. You build, innovate and keep things stable while switching between cloud, pipelines, monitoring and supporting our development teams. Expect lots of variety, plenty of ownership and space to dive deep into complex systems.

- Optimise our development environment so engineers can build faster and friction-free.
- Modernise legacy components while helping evolve our cloud infrastructure.
- Join the on‑call rotation for incidents one week per month (only after thorough onboarding). Incidents are rare, and usually fixed within 30 minutes.
- Act as the dedicated SRE contact for one of our development teams.
- Contribute actively to knowledge sharing within the SRE team and across the organisation.
You’ll join our SRE team: a close‑knit, diverse and driven group of nine colleagues responsible for the entire Funda platform infrastructure. It’s a small team with a big responsibility – and lots of impact.

- You work in a small team on one of the largest platforms in the Netherlands, handling huge traffic and load.
- You get freedom and responsibility in a mature cloud environment where there’s still plenty to improve.

- You have experience as an SRE or Dev Ops Engineer and are ready to grow further.
- You’ve worked with Azure, Terraform and Kubernetes.
- You’re comfortable in both Linux and Windows environments.
- You’re not afraid to dive into unfamiliar systems and see troubleshooting as a challenge.
- Bonus points if you can do something in C#, Python, SQL or Open Search.
- You're currently living in the Netherlands and speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
- A good salary between € 4 609,50 – € 6 486,35 per month, based on a 40‑hour work week
- Annual bonus of up to 1.5 times your monthly salary
- Hybrid working: minimum 40% in the office
- 25 paid days off a year and the possibility to buy more
- Working hours (32/36/40 per week) are negotiable
- 60% pension coverage

- A net monthly reimbursement of up to € 85 for your phone and internet costs
- A net work‑from‑home allowance of € 2.40 per day

- The opportunity to take an (unpaid) 3‑month sabbatical every 3 years
