CRO Specialist – Performance Marketing & Direct Response Funnels

About the RoleWe are looking for a CRO Specialist to join our direct-response e-commerce operation, managing 100+ gadget SKUs with significant paid traffic volume.
In this role, you will own conversion rate optimization across the entire funnel — from landing pages and product pages to checkout and post-purchase flows. You’ll work closely with performance marketing, creative, and development teams to turn traffic into profitable revenue

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, analytical, and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of direct-response funnels, experimentation, and unit economics

Own and execute the CRO testing roadmap across landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, and post-purchase experiences
Build and run A/B and multivariate tests
, from hypothesis creation to analysis and rolloutDesign and optimize upsell, cross-sell, order bump, and post-purchase funnels to maximize AOV and margin
Analyze user behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel data to identify friction points and drop-offs
Evaluate experiments through a commercial lens
, balancing CVR, AOV, and margin impactCreate wireframes, mockups, and test variations in Figma
, owning the design process independentlyCollaborate closely with developers to implement experiments and new funnel steps
Work hand-in-hand with the performance marketing team to align CRO priorities with paid traffic sources and campaign goals
Document learnings and build a knowledge base of insights, patterns, and best practices
3+ years of hands‑on experience in CRO, growth, or performance marketing within e‑commerce or direct response
Proven experience using CRO tools such as Post Hog, VWO, Optimizely
, or similarStrong Figma skills
, with the ability to design landing pages and funnel variations independentlyWorking knowledge of HTML and Java Script (enough to QA implementations and make minor adjustments)
Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) to accelerate research, copy iteration, and design workflows
Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset — focused on profitability, not vanity metrics
Fluent in English
Basic Photoshop or Canva skills for quick creative edits
Experience working with high‑volume paid traffic (Meta, Google, native)
Familiarity with direct‑response copywriting and advertorial‑style funnels
Experience with
