Born out of the European Space Agency (ESA), we are a global team of highly talented scientists, engineers and business professionals, supported by an experienced management team. Let’s start with giving you a little context. Over the last few years, our Technology team has been working tirelessly to engineer our product to what it is today. While we’re about to deploy our product (Skytree Stratus), it’s up to you to streamline certain projects by defining project plans, milestones and deliverables. Along the way, you’ll make sure everything goes according to plan, stays within budget and the right quality is being met (this is just the tip of the iceberg!).

Besides, as Skytree is a relatively young company, you won’t just work within the system. You’ll also co-build the Project Management Office (PMO) System by contributing to the maturity of our PMO-standards.

• Defining project plans, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Project Planning

  Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Develop and maintain all critical project artifacts, including:

  • Detailed project plans, Project briefs, timelines, and Responsibility matrices.

  • Project budgets and comprehensive Risk assessments

  • Tracking, statusing, and reporting tools.

• Maintaining project management documentation
  , including status reports, issue logs, budgets, meeting minutes, and action lists.

• Documentation
  :
  Ensuring the accuracy of all project documentation, encompassing project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other pertinent records.

Resource, Budget, and Risk Management

• Resource Management
  :
  Identifying the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, budget, and materials) and collaborating with relevant departments to ensure their availability throughout the project.

• Budget Management
  :
  Preparing project budgets, tracking project expenses, ensuring projects are executed within the allocated budget, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

• Risk Assessment
  :
  Identifying potential risks and challenges that may impact project success, develop risk mitigation plans
  , and monitor their implementation.

• Identifying and escalating project risks, blockers and issues to senior team members promptly.

Monitoring, Communication, and Stakeholder Management

• Progress Monitoring

  Regularly tracking and reporting on project progress
  , providing updates to stakeholders and management, promptly addressing any deviations from the plan, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
