We are Pinely, a high-frequency algorithmic trading firm based in Amsterdam.

We are looking for a Quantitative Developer for our Amsterdam-based office who will join one of our Trading teams.

Responsibilities
  • Owning the team’s strategy code.
  • Maintaining the base of analytical scripts.
  • Coordinating technical work with infrastructure teams.
  • Helping researchers overcome infrastructure friction.
  • Developing features in strategies that don’t require deep research.
  • Coordinating work on open problems in analytics.
Qualifications
  • Strong mathematical and algorithmic thinking, and a solid understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
  • Willingness to dive deep into strategy details and market microstructure.
  • Desire to improve infrastructure, code, and surrounding processes.
  • Ability to write high-quality code in Python 3 and C++.
  • General understanding of ML and experience working with basic models.
  • Proficiency with pandas/pyspark or similar libraries for data analysis.
