We are looking for a S/4
HANA Supply Chain Product Master Data Lead to own end-to-end delivery for product master data within a global supply chain transformation program.
This is a leadership role accountable for building and guiding a team of subject matter experts, ensuring high-quality and on-time deliverables, and driving strong governance, planning, and change management across work streams.
You will orchestrate a cross-functional community (Business SMEs, IT SMEs, external experts/partners, and local key users), balance workload and availability, and ensure activities are executed according to plan across deployment phases including data migration, testing, training, cutover, and hypercare.
Key responsibilities
Leadership & governance:
Lead and coach a team of subject matter experts responsible for product master data and related deliverables.
Establish and maintain consistent practices, standards, and governance across work streams.
Contribute to program-level governance routines, planning cycles, and reporting in collaboration with domain leadership.
Delivery ownership:
Own planning and execution of all activities within scope, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and in full.
Proactively identify capacity, prioritization, and dependency constraints; resolve or escalate as needed.
Coordinate with system integrators/implementation partners and internal stakeholders to drive work products to completion.
End-to-end deployment support:
Coordinate core and extended teams across the following phases and activities:
Data migration (extraction, preparation, validation, load readiness)
Testing (including integration with other solutions)
Training & documentation (materials, enablement, adoption support)
User access management (as applicable to the workstream)
Cutover planning and execution
Hypercare / post-go-live support
Stakeholder management & communication:
Build effective engagement routines with Business SMEs, IT SMEs, local key users, and first-line management.
Ensure the right communication cadence for stakeholders and leadership audiences, aligned to business review cycles.
Facilitate workshops/working sessions; drive action plans, follow-ups, and decision closure.
Risk, issue, and change management:
Identify, assess, and prioritize risks/issues; develop mitigation plans and track to closure.
Drive change management deliverables in and beyond the immediate team to support adoption and sustained ways of working.
Required qualifications:
Practical, in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes in a GxP or other controlled environment (e.g., pharma, food, regulated manufacturing) is strongly preferred.
Proven experience as a Project Manager / Program Delivery Lead, managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
Good understanding of SAP (at minimum as a user in one domain; implementation exposure is a plus).
Practical understanding of methodologies for implementing process and system improvement initiatives.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams and manage complex dependencies.
Skills & competencies
Strong stakeholder management and influential leadership across levels and functions
Excellent written and verbal communication (technical + non-technical audiences)
Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills
Strong planning, organization, execution, and control of tasks/resources/timelines
Risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation tracking
High ownership mindset: self-organizing, proactive, and initiative-taking
Resilience and persistence in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Change agent capable of driving organizational change and adoption
Nice-to-haves (optional):
Experience with master data governance (standards, ownership models, data quality controls)
Experience in global rollouts, multi-site deployments, or operating-model transformations
Familiarity with testing cycles, cutover planning, and hypercare models in ERP programs
