Key Responsibilities Lead on-site commissioning of generator systems, ensuring full compliance with design, specification and performance requirements Attend internal design meetings and collaborate with Design Engineers and Project Managers Coordinate testing and commissioning activities, including documentation and procedural guidance Work closely with client-side engineers, BMS teams, DNOs and IT departments to ensure smooth project delivery Oversee system testing, record results, witness acceptance, and compile documentation for project handover Ensure safe and efficient commissioning of completed installations in line with project timelines Deliver on-site handover training to client teams Support installation activities and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) when required Essential Requirements Minimum 3 years experience as a Generator Commissioning Engineer (or similar role) Strong electrical engineering knowledge across LV generation and power distribution systems
Experience with control systems such as Com Ap , Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) , and related software suites Confident working with multi-set systems, synchronisation, G99 testing and commissioning Practical PLC programming experience Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and laptop-based engine/control software Able to work independently, manage on-site activities and handle pressured situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Whats on Offer £42,000 £ 52,000 depending on experience Company vehicle fuel Overtime opportunities Company phone Cashplan health benefit Bonus scheme Enhanced maternity/paternity leave 25 days holiday (rising with loyalty) Comprehensive training and development Long-term career stability within a well-established, financially strong engineering organisation Why Apply?
