Commercial Claims Handler

We are currently working with a fast growing insurance broker who want staff to come in and enjoy what they do, and stay for the long term. They are based in Andover and now have a nice opportunity for someone to join them in a brand new role as a Commercial Claims Handler.

You will be responsible for managing and looking after call claims for the business, which is SME business in nature, for shops, restaurants, pubs, and tradesman as well as some Property Owners, Fleet and Commercial Combined too.  

With some highly ambitious future plans our client has already seen tremendous growth and you will be the next part of this!

The business currently has a total team of 16, and you will be the first hire into a new claims area of the business, so you can really put your stamp on the role here and make your mark!

You’ll be responsible for managing the claims process for your SME commercial clients, with regular contact being kept with them and the insurers to keep your clients fully updated every step of the way.

To be considered for this role, you will need at least 1-2 years commercial claims experience, encompassing a range of commercial lines claims, including commercial combined and Property.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 5pm, but will also consider someone who is looking for hybrid working arrangements.  They also operate a casual dress code, so no need to worry about wearing business attire here!
