We are currently recruiting a Social Work Assistant to join a busy Social Work Team based in Antrim , working through the Northern Trust.

This is a full-time position , working Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm , with a required start date of 26 January 2026 . The role is temporary ongoing , with a minimum duration of 3 months.

This position is well suited to candidates who are currently studying social work or who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in social care.

• Hourly rate: £13.57 per hour
• Weekly mileage payments provided
• Travel required as part of the role
• NISCC registration
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance
• Access to a car (travel is essential for this role)

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a relevant setting, such as:
  • Schools
  • Childcare settings
  • Youth work
  • Care assistant roles
• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a care-related subject

An Enhanced Access NI Check will be completed prior to the start date.
