HR Assistant - Antrim, Banbridge, Craigavon

Are you passionate about people and ready to make an immediate impact on workplace experiences? We're seeking an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join a busy, multi-site business on an initial temporary basis. This role offers the chance to support all aspects of HR, helping to deliver efficient processes and a positive employee journey across the organisation.

The Role

As an HR Assistant, you ll be a key member of the HR team, day-to-day operations and working closely with wider teams. Collaborating with managers, you ll help maintain smooth processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive, people-focused culture.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
  • Lead onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts and related documentation.
  • Ensure employee records and HR systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and health & safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Support audits, reporting, and HR-related documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR, Compliance and legal functions.
  • Respond to employee queries and provide guidance in line with company policies.
About You
  • Previous experience in an HR or recruitment role
  • Good understanding of HR processes and systems.
  • CIPD qualified or relevant HR/Business degree.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and adaptable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
