Metal Polisher

Due to continuing success and growth, we are recruiting a Metal Polisher. Working in a busy factory environment at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Antrim your main duties will be polishing brass, stainless steel and other metals as well as fabricating and welding high quality metal products for a range of extraordinary projects across the world. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately and with a first-class finish.

• Mirror finish polishing of metal components
• Fabricating and assembling metal components.
• Responsible for carrying out a variety of welding types to high standards using engineering drawings and jigs.
• Complying with strict Health & Safety standards including PPE.

• Substantial experience of polishing metal components
• MIG & TIG Welding and stainless steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Fully capable of working with jigs, fixtures and hand-built fabrications to a high standard of accuracy.
• Ability to work with minimum instruction in terms of cutting and building up of box section components.
• Able to use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
• Operate machinery such as bandsaw, guillotine, pillar drill, ring rollers, etc - experience of guillotines and press brakes would be advantageous .
• Dress welds and polish materials to a high standard.
• Good communication skills and good team working ability.
• Willingness to maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment.
• Willingness to work overtime if required.

Dayshift:

Mon – Thu: 7.00am – 5.30pm, Fri:
7.00am – 12.00pm
