Overview
St Thomas ASC – Head Coach
St Thomas Amateur Swimming Club is seeking an inspiring and driven Head Coach to lead and develop our competitive swimming programme in the North East. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach to shape the club’s performance pathway, support swimmers of all ages and abilities, and build a positive, inclusive, and aspirational team culture.
Responsibilities- Lead the strategic planning and delivery of high-quality training programmes
- Oversee competition preparation and coach development
- Work closely with club volunteers, committee members, and key partners
- Demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to swimmer welfare, athlete development, and continuous improvement
- Proven coaching experience
- Recognised coaching qualifications
- A clear vision for growing participation and performance within a community focused club environment
