Locum Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

Rates: £100 - £125 per hour (PAYE)

Shifts:

09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday - Friday

Location:

Argyll & Bute Hospital

Consultant Psychiatrist required for Kintyre and Islay area to undertake OP clinics and in-patient duties for sector. To participate in 2nd on-call rota. Must be AMP, This is for 8 sessions per week, however a further 2 sessions are available to cover within the Learning Disabilities service. Must have a clean, current driving licence. Ongoing requirement.

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent
• Full GMC registration with a specialist licence to practice in Adult Psychiatry
• CCT in Adult Psychiatry
• Able to be approved by Health Board under s22 of the mental health act
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
