Data Scientist and Automation Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity:

Do you thrive in a mission-driven environment where modern analytics, intelligent automation, and secure data engineering directly enhance Navy readiness and operational effectiveness? We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist and Automation Engineer to support the Navy records management mission by designing advanced data workflows, scalable analytics solutions, and automated pipelines that strengthen data reliability and accelerate digital transformation.

In this role, you will apply deep experience in data science, scripting, and automation, including tools such as Python, Power Shell, and SQL, to modernize enterprise data processes, refactor legacy scripts, and implement secure, high-performance solutions that enable large-scale records management modernization. You will collaborate closely with program managers, developers, and Navy stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve data workflows, build predictive and descriptive analytics, and ensure automation aligns with compliance and security standards.

You understand that data scientists and automation engineers are central to mission success, integrating disparate data sources, applying advanced analytics, optimizing data movement, and building maintainable, resilient tools that improve decision-making across the enterprise. You will process massive datasets, validate scripts and applications through Pester testing, build data-driven insights, develop automation pipelines, and contribute to Agile delivery across multiple modernization initiatives.

Your work will directly improve program effectiveness, accelerate digital transformation, and help the Navy establish maintainable, efficient, and secure automation capabilities.

Join us. The world can't wait.
