Payroll - Portadown (Full-Time / Part-Time)

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a well established, growing accountancy practice to recruit for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a full-time / part-time basis.

MCS Group is partnering with a successful accountancy practice in Portadown to recruit a driven and ambitious Payroll Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional eager to join a well established firm and a chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.

The successful Payroll Assistant can expect to receive the following:

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Processing Payroll for a range of clients across a range of industries
• Weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Dealing with queries and exceptions
• Full end to end Payroll
• Wider supportive duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in computerised payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation and practical procedures.
• Accurate, detail-focused, with strong problem-solving and planning skills.
• Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau and CIPP qualification are desirable.
