Trainee Accountant

Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our financial services client for a Graduate T rainee Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll have the opportunity to grow in your role, while playing an important part in our client's continued success. What you'll do:
Assisting in the planning and preparation of financial reports for a portfolio of funds. Ensuring that reporting deadlines are met and client accounting requirements are delivered in accordance with contracts. Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping for all transactions. Maintain an efficient process to guarantee the prompt delivery of client accounting requirements, including financial reports and accounts for all entities within the assigned portfolio.

Production of annual audited accounts, interim unaudited accounts, quarterly unaudited net asset valuations, and capital statements. Ensure that established timetables for account production are consistently met. Provide necessary information to auditors to facilitate the timely completion of audits for funds and their related entities. What you'll need:
First or 2:1 in Accountancy or related degree Desirable to be part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Strong numerical ability Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Comfortable working with numbers and data Naturally analytical with strong critical thinking skills Confident using MS Office and Excel Well-organised and deadline-driven What you'll get:
