Company Accountant

Company Accountant Armagh £50,000 - £55,000 Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with an established organisation in Armagh to recruit a Company Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to take full ownership of the finance function, working closely with senior management to deliver accurate financial reporting, provide commercial insight and maintain strong financial controls.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business performance, improving processes and contributing to the company's continued growth.

The Role Lead the day-to-day finance function and oversee financial operations. Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts. Manage cash flow, working capital, VAT, payroll and statutory reporting. Oversee year-end accounts, audit preparation, tax compliance and R&D reporting. Maintain robust financial controls, stock accuracy and reporting processes. Provide commercial insight and financial guidance to senior management. Support business planning, growth and continuous improvement.

The Person Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Strong experience across management accounts, budgeting and forecasting. Good knowledge of VAT, financial controls and statutory reporting. Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior management and wider teams. Proactive with the ability to lead and develop a finance function.
