Electrical Estimator

Due to continual growth, Fox Electrical Contractors Ltd. have a new opportunity available for a permanent, full-time Estimator/Bidder. Monday-Friday, 40 hours a weeks, 8am-6pm Closing date:
Sunday 11th January The role requires a candidate who will be responsible for:
Researchingthecostofitemssuchasmaterials,transport,labourandequipment Establishingandmaintainingexcellentrelationswithbothbuilders,professionalteamsanddirectlywithend user clients Gettingquotesfromsuppliersandcontractorswithinaspecifiedtimeframeandmaintainingacostdatabase Assessingtherisklevelsassociatedwithaproject Preparingandsubmittingquotationsanddetailsofcostsforworktobedone Assistingwithbidsfornewcontractsandsupportingtheactivitiesofbuyers Monitoringthecostsatthedifferentstagesofaprojecttoensureitstayswithintheestimatedcosts Liaise with Client and Principal contractor at design and progress meetings. The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: 3

Yearsminimumexperienceinasimilarrole. Estimating knowledge and pricing, prepare and submit competitive tender packages with values ranging from our small works department to £5m+ Interpreting drawings and specifications, undertaking material take-off's and ordering of materials. Competentwithcomputersoftwaretoinclude:
Microsoft word,excel,project,accessandpowerpoint. AutoCAD Anyestimatingsoftware Abletomanageawiderangeofprojects,includingsmallworks,newbuildandrefurbishments Abletoworkontheirowninitiativeandaspartofateam. Dedicatedtomaintainingthehighestqualitystandards. Agoodcommunicatorwithanorganisedandmethodicalapproachtocompletionofprojects. Commerciallyawarewithagoodgraspofoperatingunderdifferentformsofcontracts Full driving licence In return, the company is offering:
