Management Accountant

Management Accountant Armagh £45,000 - £50,000 Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will play an important role in financial reporting, cashflow management and performance analysis across UK, Irish and European operations.

The Role Prepare monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, accruals and prepayments. Support group cashflow forecasting, working capital management and budgeting. Produce monthly Board packs, financial analysis and KPI reporting. Monitor project profitability, job costing, WIP and margins. Analyse budget and forecast variances, highlighting key trends and risks. Assist with UK, Irish and European VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations. Support year-end accounts, external audits and statutory reporting.

Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight. Identify improvements to financial controls, processes and reporting systems.

The Person Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience. Previous experience preparing management accounts. Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience in cashflow forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and reporting deadlines. Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
