About the Company:

You will be reporting to the Technical Manager where you will be working within a Site Technical Team to ensure technical requirements are met, both on the factory floor and in relation to associated documentation.

Duties Include:

• Implementation, maintenance and follow up of site Quality Systems and HACCP.
• Monthly trend analysis, document control, internal auditing and traceability exercises.
• Completion of internal and retailer specifications.
• Assist the monitoring of food safety and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Creating product sampling schedules, including micro sampling, allergen swabbing, organising lab testing and collating results.
• Technical KPI tracking and reporting of performance to Senior Management.
• Supplier approval monitoring for Ingredients and Packaging.
• Assist with internal and external auditing including BRC.
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis with the Production team into non-conformances.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree or equivalent in a food-science related discipline.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge and experience of Audits including BRC.
• Strong Communication Skills with the ability to work within cross functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities when required.
