Overview

Divisional Head of Finance role at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
. The Trust is investing in high‑quality service and innovation, with a new divisional finance structure across Wexham, Frimley Park and Heatherwood. This senior position leads financial policy, performance and value for money, providing strategic vision and operational leadership to support modern, patient‑focused services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver financial policy, performance and value for money across the organisation.
  • Provide strategic vision, expert advice and operational leadership, ensuring robust financial processes and controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement, empower the finance team and shape financial strategies underpinning commitment to excellence.
  • Work across all sites (Wexham, Frimley Park, Heatherwood) to deliver a modernised, patient‑focused service.
  • Develop and implement overall financial productivity and efficiency plans.
  • Support the Associate Director of Finance; deputise in their absence where required.
Qualifications
  • Senior finance professional with experience within an NHS foundation trust.
  • Member of the Senior Finance Team, responsible for leading and delivering financial policy, performance and value for money.
  • CCAB qualified or equivalent finance qualification.
  • Strong strategic finance leadership in complex environments, capable of providing innovative, proactive advice and support.
  • Excellent understanding of robust financial processes and controls; capability to act as a business partner financial service.
  • Proven leadership in financial plan delivery; ability to deputise in absence.
