General Operative, Manufacturing ​/ Production

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch for a number of General Operatives / Assemblers across several departments, with a range of shift patterns including Days, Afternoons and Nights.

General Operative Job Details & Benefits;

* Days - Mon-Fri: 8am-4pm or 6am-2pm, £12.21 p/h

* Afternoons – Mon-Thurs 2pm-10:45pm and Friday 2pm-7pm, £13.74 p/h

* Nights - Mon, Tues, Wed 10pm – 6:30am and Sunday 18:30pm – 06:30am, £14.88 p/h

General Operative Job Details;

General Operative – Permanent Days

• Build and wire panels (full training provided)

• Work within a small, supportive team

• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure products meet required standards

• Quality check work to maintain high accuracy and efficiency

• Assist in building systems to support fast turnaround and exemplary output

Assembler/Test – Permanent Afternoons

• Assemble printed circuit boards

• Fit electronic components into position

• Keep the soldering machine utilised

• General production duties including picking and packing components

• Operate and feed the flying probe test machine (basic operating experience required)

Assembler – Permanent Nights

• Assemble printed circuit boards

• Fit electronic components into position

• Keep the soldering machine utilised and running efficiently

• General production duties including picking and packing components

General Operative Person Specification;

• Is keen to learn new skills

• Has an excellent eye for detail

• Enjoys following processes to a high standard

• Can work both independently and as part of a small team
