A growing construction consultancy based in South London is looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-quality residential and hospitality projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager seeking strong mentorship, early project exposure, and a clear route to progression within a professional and well-respected consultancy.

The Assistant Project Manager will join a collaborative and ambitious team delivering new-build and refurbishment schemes typically valued between £3m and £25m.

This role offers day-to-day involvement on live projects and full support towards chartership.

The Assistant Project Manager's role

The Assistant Project Manager will work alongside experienced Project Managers and Associates, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of programmes, reports and contract documents

Coordinating meetings, minute-taking, and stakeholder follow-ups

Supporting the procurement process and tender analysis

Monitoring progress on site and reporting on contractor performance

Helping to manage project risk, quality and cost

This role provides a varied workload, from private residential schemes to boutique hospitality projects in Central and South London.

The Assistant Project Manager

The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have:

A construction-related degree (e.g., Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management)

Previous experience in a consultancy or client-side role

Strong interest in residential and hospitality sectors

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Enthusiasm to achieve chartership (RICS or APM)
