NPD Technologist

Job Description

I am currentlypartnered with an established bespokefood manufacturer known for their commitment to quality and creativity. They’re seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic NPD Technologist to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in food development or production who enjoys working across both the creative and technical sides of bringing new products to life.

• Supporting the NPD team in developing and improving products from concept to launch.
• Splitting your time between the development kitchen and production environment.
• Preparing and managing samples, trials, and testing sessions.
• Collaborating with production, process, and packaging teams to ensure smooth scale-up.
• Assisting with QA checks, documentation, and process improvements.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and contributing to regular team meetings.
• Playing an active role in the ongoing development of the site and its capabilities.

• 1–3 years’ experience in NPD, food technology, or a related role.
• A relevant food science or technical qualification (e.g. NVQ, diploma, or degree).
• Strong attention to detail with a practical, proactive approach.
• Confident communicator who works well across teams.
• Organised and adaptable, able to balance multiple projects.
