We’re looking for a skilled and motivated PSV Mechanic / Engineer to join our team at our Ashington Depot — a fully equipped commercial workshop with a strong team culture and a shared commitment to engineering excellence.

As a PSV Mechanic at Arriva, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet of buses stays safe, reliable, and road-ready. You’ll carry out preventative maintenance
, diagnostic fault-finding
, and reactive repairs to DVSA and Arriva standards, helping us deliver a clean, efficient, and dependable service to our customers.

This is a critical role in a well-respected engineering team that underpins our operational success.

Routine servicing and maintenance of our fleet to Arriva and DVSA standards

Vehicle fault diagnostics and repairs to ensure maximum reliability

MOT prep and quality checks

Proactive contribution to fleet performance and safety

Shift work as part of a depot rota

A recognised Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in HGV/PSV maintenance and repair

A full UK driving licence (max. 6 points)

Ability to pass a company medical

Experience in commercial vehicle repair and maintenance

A positive, team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic
