Officer​/Sr.Officer - Warehouse; Non seed

Position: Officer/Sr.Officer - Warehouse (Non seed)
This position is responsible for following key activities
Based on the annual/quarter non-seed volume projection of the country, prepares the Non Seed Requirement plan to achieve the target.
Support & coordination with packing team , warehouse manager Manage availability of supporting Non seed material efficient and stock accountability to run seed packing activity on time
Following the approved work processes and standards of East-West Seed for Non Seed Inventory Management, organizes the work processes into tasks and work instructions for proper delegation.
Ensures proper training of the team members in performing their work processes.
Establishes a system for monitoring & Improving the efficiency of work operations ie process, equipment, people. Ensures that all procedures are strictly followed and implemented and quality standards are being met.
Ensures that all equipment needed for Non Seed handling activities are in good condition. Plans and schedules the regular equipment maintenance program to prevent breakdowns and/or interruptions to operations.
Reviews the team's operational performance and finds solutions to identified issues/concerns. Informs management regarding critical Quality issues that might impact the business in meeting its targets.

Non seed warehouse management
As per 3 months sales forecast and historical sales trend , maintain the sufficient non seed inventory in the warehouse .
Physical receiving of non seed material along with proper documents .
Keeping the record of inward and outward material in the system .
Maintain a daily issuing register as well as updates in the system .
Checking of quality parameters for every inward material as per approved specification, mainly the packaging materials, checking of colours, specifications, not expected the technical inhouse testing.
Maintain location Wise stock in the system .
Communication with vendors related to non seed material ( delivery , quality , quantity and timeline)
Prepare a write off proposal for unused , waste ,non usable materials and submit to line manager for further approvals .
Disposal of write off material after approval .
Maintain the data of all standard specifications and specimens for all non seed material for reference purpose .
Submission of inward documents for GRN purpose after physical and quality checking .
2. Data Management and Reporting
Ensures that the required Non seed Material records are accurately documented and updated into the ABS system in a timely manner. Strictly ensures that data integrity is observed by all team members at all times.
Prepares, reviews and submits the reports needed by management on a regular basis based on agreed timelines.
Keeps an organized and updated records management of the department's files.
3. Safety Management
Develop, Implement and communicate the safety policies and program of the company.
Ensures that the work environment (including equipment, processes, availability of personal protective equipment ) is generally safe at all times.
Trains team members on safety guidelines and ensures strict observance.
Ensure everybody follows safety procedure while in working area
4. People Management
Need to have the capability to understand user's requirements to proved the information
Able to handle the team of labours on routine activities without having any Labour issue.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience , Skills)
Bachelor's in packaging Technology, Bachelors in commerce with warehouse mgt diploma or Equivalent
More than 3-5 years of work experience in the seed industry or similar industry
Experience in ERP system eg ABS, SAP, MS Dynamics and excel etc
Adequate experience and knowledge about seed packing material , machine parts and other non seed material
English speaking & writing
