WOLF is seeking a driven Electronics Technologist to join our manufacturing and quality team full‑time in Aurora, Ontario. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will:
- Validate & qualify every product against approved test procedures—ensuring absolute compliance before deployment.
- Assemble & integrate mechanical and thermal components (gap pads, gels, coatings) and perform precision board rework under microscope guidance.
- Program & configure firmware/software per customer and product specifications.
- Capture & report anomalies, assist with NCRs, and drive root‑cause analyses to resolution.
- Draft & update deviation notices, work instructions, and assembly documentation to keep production on point.
- Lead & contribute in daily scrums and production meetings—proposing process improvements, workflow optimizations, and quality enhancements.
- Champion ISO 9001 and AS9100D standards, safeguarding WOLF’s reputation for excellence and reliability.
You bring 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics product testing, qualification, validation, or design, with strong mechanical assembly skills and the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings. You instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, comfortable troubleshooting PC‑based systems, and you produce clear, structured, and error‑free technical documentation. You’ve worked with OrCAD/Allegro PCB layout and schematic tools, Gerber viewers, MS Office, and CAD, and you thrive in collaborative, detail‑driven environments with a “can‑do” attitude.
As an asset, you may hold IPC‑610 or IPC‑7711 certifications for fine‑pitch soldering, be proficient in Linux and PLM software such as Omnify, have experience designing test fixtures, embedded firmware or microprocessor programming, and familiarity with high‑speed interfaces like PCIe, HDMI, and 10 GigE.
