Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care for pre- and post-operative orthopedic patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, high-quality outcomes.
Key Duties- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and recovery progress; communicate changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards
- Support post-operative recovery, pain management, and patient education
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality protocols
- Active Registered Nurse licensure
- Strong clinical judgment in medical-surgical and orthopedic care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy
- Ability to deliver compassionate care and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices
