About

The Role

Our client, a pharmaceutical company running global clinical trials, needs a hands‑on Veeva EDC administrator to configure, support and improve its Veeva Vault EDC platform. You will own study configuration, production support and EDC enhancements, working with Clinical Operations, Data Management and IT.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and administer Veeva Vault EDC across development, test and production: studies, sites, subjects, casebooks, forms, item groups, fields, edit checks, rules, derivations and workflows.
  • Support study builds, amendments and mid‑study changes, plus day‑to‑day production support.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, integration errors and system defects and resolve them quickly.
  • Manage user provisioning, role assignments, study access and security configuration.
  • Gather business and clinical requirements, assess impact, and deliver EDC enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Support Veeva EDC integrations with CTMS, Service Now, safety, labs and other clinical systems.
  • Support system testing, UAT, validation, deployments and release management.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, change records and validation evidence under GxP / CSV.
  • Assist with data review, query management, coding and clinical data workflows where needed.
  • Recommend improvements to EDC processes, usability and automation, and help shape the EDC enhancement roadmap.
Required
  • Strong hands‑on Veeva Vault EDC (CDMS) configuration and administration in real projects (study build, edit checks / rules, user and role security).
  • Production support of Veeva EDC in a pharma, biotech or CRO environment.
  • Good understanding of clinical trials, clinical data management and the study lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and computer system validation (CSV).
  • Able to work Pacific Time hours.
Preferred
  • Veeva EDC integrations and APIs (Vault API, CTMS, safety, labs, Service Now).
  • Veeva Clinical applications such as CTMS or eTMF.
  • Veeva certification (e.g., Vault EDC / CDMS Study Builder or Administrator).
