Class 2 HGV Drivers Temp to Perm

Shift details

• Monday to Friday only - no weekends
• On average 50-55 hours per week
• Happy to accept newly qualified drivers
• £17.00 per hour + quarterly bonuses
• Avonmouth
• Start times around 4-5am

Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for Class 2 Drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth near Bristol. The roles will involve working as a "2 man crew" delivering furnishings to customers' homes. Please note that the roles will involve heavy lifting.

The pay rate is £17.00 per hour and the client also pays quarterly bonuses.

Our client is happy to accept new drivers with very little or no experience - all the training (tacho rules and usage, safe lifting practices etc.) will be provided.

Candidates will need to pass a driving assessment and, providing that you are successful and you can start immediately, the work will be starting the following Monday. The client is, of course, happy for you to work your notice if necessary.

• If you are a newly qualified driver, previous experience in a 3.5T driving role would be preferred
• Valid UK Cat C (Class 2 / LGV C / HGV
  
  C) driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
• Willingness to do manual handballing
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Good customer service skills

• All the training (tacho rules, safe lifting practices etc.) provided by the client
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued on top of your weekly wages
