Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents.

If you’re an experienced Senior Care Assistant with a proven track record of leading and motivating a team, this could be the perfect next step for you.
As a Day Care Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our care home. You’ll lead by example on the floor, guiding and supporting our care team to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care. Working closely with the management team, you’ll help plan and allocate workloads, oversee care delivery, and ensure residents receive safe, dignified, and individualised support at all times.

Purpose:
Every day, you’ll inspire your team to deliver compassionate, professional care that helps our residents feel safe, valued, and m leading shifts and mentoring new colleagues to supporting clinical staff and maintaining accurate care plans, you’ll bring structure, empathy, and leadership to everything you do.
What You’ll Bring :
Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader in an elderly care home setting.
A confident, hands-on approach to leading and managing a care team.
Strong understanding of person-centred care and CQC standards.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care preferred.
Compassionate, organised, and committed to excellence in everything you do.
