Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Vet Surgeon specializing in Small Animal to join our team in Axminster, Devon. This is a locum position starting on the 9th of October 2024 and ending on the 11th of October 2024, with 3 days per week. The successful candidate will provide top‑notch care to our patients in a supportive and well‑equipped environment.

• Delivering high-quality veterinary care to small animals in accordance with the best practices of veterinary medicine.
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient safety and well‑being.
• Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
• Collaborating with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

• Veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a veterinarian in the UK.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Wednesday: 08:00 - 19:00
• Thursday: 08:00 - 19:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 19:00
