3D Machine Control Specialist - HS2 Salary:
Up to £65kpa (DOE) + lodging allowance + car allowance

We're looking for a highly skilled 3D Machine Control Specialist to join our client's growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major earthworks projects as part of the HS2 project near Aylesbury. Key Responsibilities:- Operate and manage 3D machine control systems on a variety of heavy plant equipment.
- Accurately set up and calibrate machine control systems to project specifications.
- Convert and upload complex design files into machine control software.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance on‑site.
- Collaborate closely with surveyors and engineers to guarantee the accurate implementation of designs.
- Provide training and support to other operators on the effective use of 3D machine control systems.
- Maintain and update machine control software as necessary.
- Assist with the creation of 3D models and designs for machine control applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Document and report on system performance and any issues encountered.
- Proven experience operating 3D machine control systems on heavy plant equipment.
- Proficiency in software such as Trimble, Topcon, or Leica.
- A strong understanding of construction and earthworks processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor others.
- A valid UK driver's licence and the flexibility to travel to various sites.
- A degree or certification in surveying, engineering, or a related field.
- Registration with an accredited professional body.
