Estimator - Refurbishment

• Produce accurate, detailed, and competitive tenders within agreed deadlines.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and information to create full cost breakdowns.
• Estimate materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor packages for projects up to £10m.
• Identify risks, challenges, and value engineering opportunities in tenders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
• Liaise with internal teams to confirm scope, pricing strategies, and tender assumptions.
• Keep organised records of all tender-related documents and communications.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal procedures.

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Ability to deliver accurate estimates for both refurbishment and new‑build schemes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
