Job Description
Our client, Gallagher Group, is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to act as a key escalation point within the IT team. This role involves advanced technical support across office and construction-site environments and suits someone who enjoys hands-on responsibility and site presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as senior escalation point for IT issues
* Supporting server, network, and Microsoft 365 environments
* Minimum one day per week providing on-site IT support
* Supporting specialist construction and engineering software
* Maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity
* Supporting IT compliance standards (Cyber Essentials, GDPR, PCI DSS)
* Improving IT documentation and best practices
* Providing helpdesk cover when required
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in IT support or engineering
* Strong server, networking, and security knowledge
* Experience working in construction, engineering, or site-based environments
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
* Full UK manual driving licence and own vehicle
