Warehouse Operative – 2pm – 10pm, Monday – Friday

Working hours will vary during initial training period.

What is a Warehouse Operative at Prinova?

This role ensures that day‑to‑day warehouse operations are carried out according to procedures and health & safety standards, as outlined in the site directive. You will support all internal customers under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor to help the department run smoothly. Manual handling duties are part of the job.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of tidiness in the warehouse area and yard and remove hazards or obstructions according to procedure.
  • Complete daily requirements: dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, production picking.
  • Assist with production daily requirements.
  • Prepare bulk and part goods for production.
  • Follow instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor & Team Leader.
  • Ensure daily FLT checks are complete, documented and report defects immediately.
  • Complete all other warehouse checks as per rota.
  • Arrange disposal of production waste.
  • Assist with sampling room requirements.
  • Coordinate with Customer Support and outside transport providers to ensure smooth dispatch of customers' orders.
  • Perform any reasonable tasks requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Production Supervisor.
  • Work safely and follow all safety requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience using warehouse equipment: reach and counterbalance trucks up to 1600 kg, pallet trucks.
  • Relevant experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to follow company policies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and operate an in‑house computer system.
  • Team player, willing to support others within the department and organization.
  • Comfortable with lone‑working.
