Position: A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer based at Ailsa Hospital

What You Will Do: You will provide a clerical service to clinicians throughout NHS Ayrshire & Arran, ensuring procedures are in place to initiate and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient case notes to support clinical care. You will provide an administrative role in all out‑patient appointment systems and waiting lists, facilitating equitable access to specialties across NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job:
- SVQ 2 in Admin/Information Technology
- ECDL or equivalent
- Knowledge acquired through relevant experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Hours: Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours a week (pro rata for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings. 22.5 hours per week.
