Senior Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor – NEC Contracts

Join us at Turner & Townsend. This role focuses on cost and contract management for UK Energy & Natural Resources projects, with emphasis on NEC Contracts.

You will be a Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor supporting various client and Turner & Townsend projects, driving cost control and value engineering across the energy transition.

• Build professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion.
• Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely application submissions.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
• Manage contract change effectively, ensuring governance and best practice adoption.
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy.
• Offer commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Manage commission as needed.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with contract management, especially NEC

• Knowledge of change management, cost management, change control, valuation, procurement, estimating, pricing, reporting, and governance processing.
• Ability to apply collaborative approaches and maintain a best‑project attitude.
• Line management and commission management experience.
• Degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent).
• Professional membership or working towards one.
