An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Officer based at Ailsa Hospital. (An adopted distributed working approach dependent on service need)
What You Will DoWe are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within Transformation & Sustainability Directorate on a permanent basis. The post holder will be required to utilise their skills and experience in the field of planning to implement effective integrated planning processes to support and advise key stakeholders in taking forward transformation of services. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure the flow of communication, information and correspondence projecting a positive, professional image for the Department.
Managing time effectively, using initiative to prioritise and organise workload against tight timescales to meet competing demands and responding with precision at short notice is a key part of this role.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The JobThe post holder must be able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills (both written and oral). An ability to establish productive working relationships, with a developed awareness of the political sensitivity of information and the mental agility, to work through issues and take cognisance of the impact changes to services may have. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, demonstrating a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
To succeed in this role, you will have recent experience of working in the NHS, other public sector or relevant organisations and have a successful track record in developing structures and systems to support the attainment of organisational goals.
