Position:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer based at Ailsa Hospital
.
You will provide a clerical service to clinicians throughout NHS Ayrshire & Arran, ensuring procedures are in place to initiate and maintain accurate and up to date patient casenotes to support clinical care. Provide an administrative role in all out‑patient appointment systems and waiting lists, facilitating equitable access to specialties across NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:- SVQ 2 in Admin/Information Technology
- ECDL or equivalent
- Knowledge acquired through relevant experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 h (pro rata for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings. 22.5 h per week.
