Hours of Work: 47.5 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday
As a Production Operative, you’ll be central to the day‑to‑day running of our feed mill operations. You’ll help ensure products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently, while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
This is a fantastic entry point into the business, with clear progression opportunities. Career paths can lead to roles such as LGV Driver, Production Planner, Engineer, or other positions across the wider Mole Valley Farmers group.
Key responsibilities- Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently
- Managing weighbridge procedures and quality control
- Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock control
- Loading vehicles and serving customers with accuracy and care
- Supporting compliance audits and following medicated procedures
- Maintaining clean and tidy work areas and reporting equipment issues
- Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or agricultural environment
- Basic mechanical understanding and ability to operate machinery
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety and compliance standards
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, reliable, and team‑oriented approach
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to changing priorities
