The opportunityOur Hitachi learning center Grid Automation in Baden Switzerland offers a wide range of training services including basic and advanced training courses as well as project‑specific or customized courses. The training services are available for both the engineering company as well as for the end user and focus on the needs of operation and maintenance staff, service and commissioning as well as application engineers.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to coordinate and further develop our training and educational activities within the Learning Center / Grid Automation Academy.
Responsibilities- Support and coordinate learners and collaborate closely with colleagues in the Learning Center
- Set up and adapt training rooms for various course formats (RTU, Relion, SAS, digital substations, etc.)
- Install and configure training systems, hardware and software (IEDs, networks, laptops, firmware)
- Perform functional tests and troubleshoot technical issues
- Maintain infrastructure (networks, software updates, security checks)
- Prepare and support remote courses (system tests, Teams meetings, access management) and ensure stable technical conditions for virtual and hybrid training sessions
- Onboard and guide new trainees, provide coaching and mentoring and coordinate and plan apprenticeship tasks in collaboration with technical departments
- 5 years’ experience in project or program management, ideally in training or technical academies
- Technical understanding of grid automation systems and IT infrastructure
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, trainers, and internal departments
- Very good command of German and English
