Plant Engineer

Role Summary

The Plant Engineer will oversee the maintenance and reliability of all machines and equipment within the joinery and metal production facility. This includes CNC machines, polishing units, milling machines, metal painting booths, and other specialized equipment. The role ensures minimal downtime, optimal performance, and compliance with safety standards through preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.

• Operational reliability and safety: ensure smooth functioning of all industrial facility equipment and systems with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• System design & improvement: lead design, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of diverse systems across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains.
• Preventive maintenance programs: develop structured preventive maintenance schedules for utilities.
• Routine inspections & compliance: conduct regular maintenance checks and enforce strict compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Documentation & reporting: provide detailed procedures, generate logs, and prepare reports to track performance and support audits.
• Annual maintenance contracts: plan, schedule, monitor, and verify AMC service tasks with precision.
• Budgeting & cost control: prepare and manage budgets for utilities maintenance.
• Troubleshooting & technical support: collaborate with supervisors and technicians to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5-7 years in plant engineering or maintenance within joinery, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments.

• Strong knowledge of compressors, dryers, generators, firefighting and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with woodworking equipment, PLC machines, etc.
• Proficiency in CMMS software for maintenance planning.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
