This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational background in sea freight exports, excellent knowledge of carrier processes, and a commercial mindset to support business growth.

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end sea freight export shipments.
• Make carrier bookings, complete VGM submissions, and handle export customs entries.
• Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (B/L) instructions accurately and on time.
• Handle cross trade shipments, liaising with overseas partners and agents.
• Ensure compliance with international trade and export regulations.
• Maintain strong working relationships with carriers, agents, and clients.
• Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients updated throughout the process.
• Contribute to the company's commercial success by spotting opportunities to upsell or improve services.

• Proven experience in export sea freight operations within a freight forwarding environment (essential).
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation.
• Experience with Cargo Wise is advantageous (but not essential).
• Knowledge of export customs requirements and cross trade procedures.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to support sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
