What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role

• The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates electrically powered stand-up, sit-down, high reach, quad-mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, move, or place in racks, products/materials in the cold storage. The ideal candidate will move materials in the warehouse, CPG, Natural Ingredients, and load/ unload truck trailers or shipping containers.

What We’re Looking For

• Conducts daily inspections on assigned equipment which may include but not be limited to stand-up, sit-down, high reach, quad-mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment
• Consistently uses a tablet on lift that directs, identifies, and tracks raw materials as it is moved
• Responsible for following FIFO protocol to physically rotate and store ingredients or raw materials to ensure proper aging
• Utilizes JD Edwards to relocate packaging and ingredients from Warehouse to production for utilization
• Responsible for preparing and weighing out ingredients ahead of time for production based on the schedule
• Participates in reconciling ingredient and packaging once production has completed their runs
• Performs cycle counts on a daily basis
• Assists with pulling ingredients/packaging from Warehouse for non-production departments, when needed
• Will inspect and unload trailers then transport, and store all incoming raw materials
• Other duties as assigned

Additional

Required Qualifications

• One year of related electrically powered stand up, sit
  * down, high reach, quad mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment experience
• Certification in operating electrically powered forklifts is required or must be able to complete forklift training with certificate
• Ability to read and write in English
• Capability to work cross functionally and communicate with other departments within the organization
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Competence to work as a team and follow instructions
• Capable of learning and using the equipment and tools used to perform the job
• Possess basic mathematical skills (such as adding and subtracting)

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using a warehouse management system which includes RF scanners, VMU units, and handheld RF units
• Current forklift certification
